"Thief of Lives"

High Fantasy
Summery
Thief of lives is the second books in the Noble Dead Series. In this story we find Magiere and Leesil once again running their little inn together, but sadly once again they are called to hunt the undead.
A message comes from the capital that there are undead hunting in the streets and that they will give a lot of money for her help. Both Magiere and Leesil don't want to go but after leesil burned down the larges warehouse in town the city is starting to go under without the extra money coming it to town.
After arriving in the Capital City to hunt the undead they find out that not only has one noble girl was killed but also poor people all over the city. As they start to hunt, Magiere finds out that her Dhampir half has more aspects to it then she thought, and new powers start popping up.
As time moves on it becomes obvious that they know the vampire that they are hunting... Ratboy has started a new family in the capital city and has hunting the humans that live there, but he may not be the only vampire stocking those streets.
Review
The second book in the Noble Dead Series keeps up with the first novel. It is well written and and pulls the reader all the way through. As it is written by both a husband and wife the characters feel real and sophisticated.
In this novel, unlike the first, the main perspective is the Leesil's and has more of a male feel to it. I believe this is true because of the fact that the husband was the main writer on this book unlike the first.
I would give this book a 7.5 out of 10 the same as the first. This book is worth every minute, and shows great promise for the series as a whole.
